P r ivate Wran<.:is John McMillen Oyston (6312) was born
at Malvern, Victoria. He enlisted on the 20th March, 1916,
and went into camp attached to the 32nd Battalion. He made
the 'upreme sacrifice at Polygon 'Wood on the 29th September,
1917.
Private HAROLD ARTHUR OYSTON.
Private Harold Arthur Oyston (1984) was born at Rich–
mond, Victor ia.
He enlisted and sailed with the 51st Batta–
lion.
He was wounded at Noreuil, France, on the 2nd April,
1917, and returned to Australia per the S.s . Konigin Louise
on the 3rd August, 1919.

March, 1894, at Bunbury, is a son of C. and L. SjJeneer. He
cnli~ted
in May, 1915, and embarked with the 1st 28th.
Pre–
viou ' to going to Gallipoli he joined the 28th Battalion Gun–
ner. ·.
He remained at Gallipoli until the evacuation.
He
saw servlice wth the 7th Machine Gun Company from March,
1916, to May, when wounded.
He lost an eye in the fighting
l'ound Bullecourt.

He returned to

per ::;.s. Anchises in April, 1919.
