by Field-Marshal
the Right Honourable Earl Haig, G.C.B., President of this College.
CLIFTON COLLEGE MEMORIAL
He received the key from the President of the Old Cliftonian Society,
Lieutenant-Colonel Sir Francis Younghusband, K.C.S.I., K.C.I.E., and
ultimately handed it to the Chairman of the Council, Sir Herbert Warren,
K.V.C.O., D.C.L.
A short service was held at the South African War Memorial in
the Close, commencing with the hymn" Lord of our Life and God of
