RF.A., 1906, joining a R.F.A. Battery in India ; selected for R.H.A. in 1914 ;
went to ]'rance with the First Expeditionary Force, and was present at the
Retreat from Mons. He then trained a battery of R .F.A. in England, and
returned with it to France. Subsequently he was given command of a battery
of R.H.A., and fell on 29.8.18 while leading it into action, aged 33; M.O. His
elder brother, l\Iajor F. . Watson, D.S.O., M.C., died of wounds, and his
youngest brother, Capt. C. R. Watson, was killed in action.
